Intro
Best known as a Racing Broadcaster on Sky's At The Races, I have presented a variety of programmes on different subjects; from the News on Channel 5, to holiday and lifestyle features on CNBC. I have also reported on Winter Sports, including the Luge in Lake Placid, which I was persuaded to have a go at myself! Aside from riding in a race; sliding the Luge is the most exciting thing I've ever done, what a rush!
During my career I have been to some great places, met some fantastic people and had the privilege of reporting on some major events including Royal Ascot, the Durban July in South Africa and the Breeder's Cup in the States.
Off screen, I spend most of my time riding horses, be it retraining my own ex-racehorse 'Murat', or riding out on the gallops, closely monitored by my Jack Russell Franky, who is of course named after a certain jockey and loves watching racing, thank God!
My parents, friends and I own a racehorse called Adamo who we have in training with Lawney Hill, close to where we live, so I try to get down there to see him and ride out when I can.
I also lend my time and support to the racehorse rehoming charity; HEROS, as I believe that all thoroughbreds can have a life after racing and personally it's important for me to give something back to the animals which enable me to do the things I love.
